SILENT AUCTION & CATALOG

What are TLS Exclusives and Count-Me-Ins?
TLS Exclusives are packages only available to current TLS families like teacher experiences and class projects. Count-Me-Ins are TLS Exclusives with a limited number of tickets, sold available at a set price. These often sell out *very* quickly. Events range from private dinner parties hosted by TLS families, to faculty-lead excursions, to ice skating parties and movie nights.

What is Send Your Teacher Packing (SYTP)?
SYTP is a fun TLS tradition! For $25 you can enter your favorite TLS faculty and staff to win a fabulous get-a-away. There is no limit to how many nominations you can purchase - the more nominations, the better the chances that your teacher will be the one sent packing! The lucky winner will be drawn at live event on Saturday, April 22, 2023. SYTP proceeds benefit the TLS operations budget.

How do I collect my winning items?
Class art projects will be displayed at Picture This and must be taken home from the event by the winning bidders.  An email will be sent to winning bidders to arrange pick up of all other tangible items at The Little School after Tuesday, April 25th, 2023. Whenever possible, gift certificates will be transferred electronically.

DONATIONS AND CATALOG

WHAT IS PROCUREMENT?
Procurement is the acquisition of items, experiences or services to be auctioned.
• Have a personal connection to a local business? Use the procurement letter to solicit a sponsorship or donation.
• Donate a stay at your vacation home, use of your box seats or other unique experiences or memberships.
• Purchase or curate a group experience to donate.
• Pool resources with friends to donate a larger item or plan a group experience.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS CAN I DONATE?
Our catalog wish list currently includes destination vacations, weekend getaways, private dinners or chef experiences, vintage wine and spirits, sports or entertainment packages and family-friendly memberships. We accept items at all price points and often combine donations to create a variety of packages. Ultimately, consider things you think the community would be excited to bid on.

DO I HAVE TO DONATE AN ITEM?
If you have something you’re excited to to donate, we’d love it, but there is no requirement! If you'd like to contribute financially, we are in need of donations to underwrite portions of some of our TLS exclusives.

I don’t have a vacation home or stadium suites, can I donate a smaller item?
There is a place for everyone at the auction and we appreciate donations at all price-points! Smaller items can be combined to create amazing packages. Joining with friends to host a group experience is another fun way to participate. Visit the donation pagefor more ideas. Rather give financial support? Every amount counts toward our fundraising goal. Underwrite an event, sponsor a ticket or donate to financial aid, and be sure to bid online.

Can I volunteer to help the auction team?
A BIG YES! Volunteering is a significant way to meaningfully contribute to the success of the event and to support the school. There are many pieces to make the auction successful. Opportunities for volunteering range from decorations to day-of setup, procurement, data entry, transportation and many other areas. Reach out to auction@thelittleschool.org - we would love to connect with you on your areas of interest and how you can be a part of the auction team.
